Credit Terms
Our credit terms are Net 30 Days (with established credit) - F.O.B. Universal Overall Company. Interest charges of 1.5% per month are added to all items 30 days or more past due. All costs of collection, including, but not limited to, legal fees and court costs are added to amounts due.

All payments must be made in US Dollars, drawn upon a US financial institution, unless other arrangements have been previously made.

All orders sent by email will be acknowledged by email within one (1) business day. If you DO NOT receive an acknowledgement, you must assume that the order was NOT received (please check your SPAM or JUNK mail box just in case it got caught there by accident).

Opening an Account
An initial minimum order of $1,000 is required to open an account. To remain on open account status, annual purchases must exceed $2,500.00.
Return Policy
Returns will only be accepted for items shipped in error or that have manufacturing or material defects. Any stocked garments altered into non-stocked garments (e.g., short sleeve coveralls, hemmed pants, garments with embroidery/emblem, special cuts/sizes) is a final sale.
All claims must be made within 5 days of receiving the merchandise and need to have a return authorization (RA) number assigned to it by one of our Customer Service Representatives (returns without an RA number clearly marked on the outside of the carton will be rejected). All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and return shipping is at the customer's expense (FOB Origin). Merchandise credits will be issued for returns.
All returned products must be securely packed (preferably in the original packaging). We are unable to refund money for items that have been used. All returns must include a note with the RA number, the reason for the return, customer contact information and description of the items being returned (Name, SKU). In order to have a return processed quickly and efficiently, you should enclose this note in an envelope placed inside the box. You may ship the return by the method of your choice, though we do recommend that you insure your package and utilize a service which provides for tracking and/or delivery confirmation, since we are unable to hold responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen packages. Include your RA number as part of our address on your package (as shown below). Packages not bearing an RA will be refused by our warehouse. Universal Overall Company cannot be responsible for shipping charges related to returns that are refused by our warehouse for not bearing a valid RA.

Specials
Any size or style of items not in the price list are considered a special and are priced on a per quote basis. Please call our Customer Service department for quotes and ship dates.
Our most common special service program are our "SPECIALS" (please see below or click here for more information about "specials." or custom-made garments/sizes. We do however, provide a multitude of other special services, such as:
1. PRIVATE LABEL PROGRAM Universal has successfully assisted industrial laundries and distributors with developing private label programs. The uniforms produced are either our stock merchandise or different variations of our stock merchandise with the customer's company name printed on the label. 2. NAME EMBLEMS/EMBROIDERY Our in-house Texmac embroidery machine with four heads and fifteen colors can embroider names and logos any place on the garment. You will be prompted as to whether you want your garment to be embroidered or receive a name patch when ordering. 3. REFLECTIVE/SAFETY TAPE Reflective safety tape can be added to any garment. Call customer service at 1-800-621-3344 or email at email@universaloverall with inquiries.
4. COMPANY EMBLEMS We can sew company emblems that you already have or make company emblems for you and sew them on. Call customer service at 1-800-621-3344 or email at email@universaloverall with inquiries.
Finally......our most popuar request is "SPECIALS" (CUSTOM GARMENTS/SIZES) We are happy to manufacture any size or style of items that are outside of the relm of our stocked merchandise. Customer requests have ranged from a 10XL shirt to the customer ordering a shirt with a specific sleeve length. The following surcharge may be used to approximate the cost for standard larger or smaller sizes (e.g. 6XL shirt or 66 x 40 pants) 1-5 pieces of a single size: 100% added to list price 6-49 pieces of a single size: 75% added to list price 50+ pieces of a single size: 50% added to list price If specific measurements are requested (e.g., 39 inch sleeve or 27 inch chest), add 100% to the list price, regardless of quantity. Please note, that because these are nonstock items, that all "special" orders cannot be cancelled, are final sales, and take 4-8 weeks to deliver.
All special cut orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable.
The following surcharge may be used to approximate the cost for standard larger or smaller sizes (e.g., 6XL or 64 x 28):
1 - 5 pieces of a single size: 100% added to list price
6 - 49 pieces of a single size: 75% added to list price
50+ pieces of a single size: 50% added to list price
If specific measurements are requested (e.g., 39-inch sleeve or 27-inch chest), add 100% to the list price, regardless of quantity.
Special Notes
Our Flame-resistant clothing is listed in the Flame Resistant section of our catalog. All other products in the price list/catalog are not flame-resistant apparel and offer no protection from molten metal, sparks, flames, caustic chemicals, or other occupational hazards. Flame-resistant materials and garments DO NOT OFFER THE SAME LEVEL OF PROTECTION. Flame-resistant clothing does not insulate against chemical exposure. The end-user is responsible for conducting an analysis of hazards present in the workplace to select appropriate engineering controls, protective equipment and garments to address those hazards. Flame-resistant clothing requires special handling in the repair and maintenance of the garments and may require special handling during the cleaning/laundry process. For more specific information about the properties, care instructions, and guarantees by the manufacturer of these materials, please contact our customer service department.

Yes, all of our white garments are poly-bagged. They're clean when we make them, and we want them to be that way when they arrive at your location!
All items are cut and sewn by employees of Universal Overall Company. We are able to do this because we are in the unique position of OWNING AND OPERATING all of our manufacturing facilities. This allows us to maintain control over all aspects of the manufacturing process from completion dates to quality.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you please make sure that your order is correct prior to submitting it to us (especially if it is a special cut, as all special cut orders are non-cancellable and non-returnable).
Once you place your order our systems begin processing. Should you need to cancel your order for any reason, please email or call us (see the Contact Us information on the Home page) and we will make every effort to stop the items from being shipped.
However, once the order has been tagged for shipping, we will be unable to change or cancel your order, thus you will need to follow the Return Policy procedures stated below to return the items for exchange or refund.
All cancellations will require a cancellation confirmation email. Claims of cancellation without this email will not be considered valid.
Shipping Policies
All items are subject to a shipping charge.
Orders will be shipped via UPS, FedEx Ground, the U.S. Post Office, your designated trucking company, our truck, or our designated trucking company.
Orders for stocked merchandise usually ships within 24 hours after the order is placed.
Orders with several pieces may not always arrive in one package or on the same day.
Arrival time may vary by location however, items usually arrive within ten to fourteen business days, unless the item is on backorder or is a special cut/size.
Estimated arrival dates (ETA's) are provided for these items but are subject to change without notice.

Original shipping is non-refundable.
If an order is refused, the customer is responsible for the shipping as well as any fees that occur during the delivery process. We cannot be responsible for packages lost that were refused. The customer will also be responsible for any return shipping costs and/or fees incurred as a result of the refused shipment.
If a package is returned to Universal Overall Company as a result of the customer providing an incorrect shipping address, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs to the original (incorrect) address, any return shipping costs, as well as the new delivery costs and any change of address fees that may occur during the delivery process.
